Help & FAQs

If you’re looking for help with anything from placing an order, to tracking your delivery, hopefully it will be covered by our FAQs below. If you still can’t find what you need, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

All of our prints are on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm paper.

This heavyweight paper has a slightly warm base tone and a strong mottled texture. It creates a print with strong colours and deep blacks that feel rich and high in contrast. This is due to the texture of the paper enabling it to hold more ink and capture the light.

The prints are made by our specialist fine art printing partners using top of the range Giclée printers. The archival life expectancy in average daylight conditions for your print is 80 years.

The five main factors, which ultimately dictate how long your print will last, are as follows:

Exposure to high heat sources
Exposure to bright light sources
Exposure to moisture through humidity
Atmospheric Pollutants
Storage conditions

Our Giclée paper manufactures only use resources from sustainable forest management areas. This programme ensures the preservation and protection of biodiversity, the renewal of the forests habitats and decreasing of the impacts of exploitation of forest areas for future generations. The paper made at their mills is certified for the traceability of the wood fibres from an origin of non-threatened forests.

The border size varies for each print so please check the description for each image. For framed options the mount board size also varies for each image or frame size chosen.

At the moment we are unable to offer sizes that aren’t listed in the shop.

The ‘print’ purchase options in the shop are the same printed image size that the artwork was originally drawn. We think that this best showcases the intricate technique used.

The framed purchase options are the image at the same size as the artwork was originally drawn, or as close to it as possible within the different standard framing options (see the specific image product description for details of how this varies with each frame size option).

Please do get in contact to let us know the sizes you’re looking for, so we can potentially expand what we offer in the future.

Our framing options are provided by our print partners and are for black, white or oak FSC®-certified wood frames that come complete with a high quality glass window, ready to be hung on your wall. The frames are made in Germany by Nielsen Quadrum, for more details click here.

Our print partners service is 100% carbon neutral. The carbon emissions caused by print and framing orders and deliveries are calculated and offset by investing in renewable energy projects.
